Sacmi Deep Digital at the new showroom of Sacmi Iberica
Sacmi Iberica inaugurated its showroom in Castellon, presenting the Deep Digital line, designed for the full 4.0 digitalization and supervision of the ceramic decoration process.
During Cevisama 2019, Scmi Iberica (Castellon, Spain) inaugurated its new showroom, designed to display all the latest ceramic manufacturing and decoration developments that are leading to full 4.0 digitalization and supervision at every single stage of production.
On show, the Deep Digital line that integrates and introduces a system for digital control of all surface enhancement tasks, from glazing and decoration to the deposit of grains, flakes and other elements. The line features three machines: two digital DHD1208 machines equipped, respectively, with Seiko and Dimatix heads, and the new DDG1422 (Digital Dry Glazing) machine, which deposits grains and flakes using Sacmi-developed digital colour bars that give slabs unmatched on-tile tactile and depth effects. Completing the displayed line are the VELA 1100 FC glaze application system and a modern CAM 1404 airless booth.
This comprehensive digital line features everything needed to ensure ultra-high quality material application and outstanding reliability, user-friendliness and easy maintenance. Following the same logic, the line incorporates an innovative material surface temperature stabilisation system by combining radiation and convection factors. The line supervisor guarantees digitalization of the entire process and 4.0-logic control of its various stages.
The showroom also includes a collection of samples that illustrate the innumerable decoration opportunities offered by this latest-generation line in terms of colour development. They also highlight how glaze can be combined with inkjet, oil base with water base, liquid with solid, etc.
The potential is remarkable, since even products already structured at the forming stage can be put through subsequent stages of decoration (e.g. with the insertion of through-body veining for the kitchen tops). In this case, tops with through-body veining are selected upstream - before entering the Deep Digital line - with the aid of the new Sacmi SVV patented vision system.
The Sacmi Iberica showroom also displays the latest innovative sieving and de-ironing equipment by the Cuccolini brand.
