Sanyo Tile Group chooses the digital quality of Durst Gamma 108XD
In April this year, Taiwanese group Sanyo Tile installed two new Durst Gamma 108XD digital printers for the production of its new design collections, including 12.5x60 cm wood-effect ceramic floor tiles and 30x60 cm marble-look wall tiles.
The innovative 8-colour inkjet ceramic printer ensures greater production flexibility thanks to a printing width of up to 1000 mm which allows for the decoration of all tile widths up to 90 cm.
High printing quality and reliability is ensured by the use of Durst high definition printheads and integrated Adaptive Dot Placement technology which guarantees banding-free printing and colour consistency. After two months of operation, the Taiwanese group’s Vice President Chen Tsung Chi confirmed these characteristics.
In addition to the extremely high print definition which has allowed Sanyo Tile Group to produce complex designs, the company has also noted lower levels of ink consumption compared to other printers already in operation in the factory.
The Gamma 108XD 4.0 printers also attain high levels of performance in terms of productivity and ease of maintenance.
