Seedex becomes an increasingly important partner for laboratory solutions
Just four years after it was set up, the Sassuolo-based company Seedex led by Stefano Gandini and Maurizio Riccò has already established itself in new markets and consolidated its global presence.
The company has achieved growth in all its business areas. It has boosted its sales staff, extended its distribution network and forged partnerships with major new foreign agents/distributors. It has established collaborations and representation agreements with leading companies in the sector, including Smaltochimica, Euromeccanica, Colour Service, Extris and GPIII.
With its expanded product range and ability to provide a just-in-time service, the company has become a key partner for laboratory equipment and products, as reflected in the company slogan "Seedex Your Partner for Laboratory Solutions". In this segment the company supplies screen printing and graphic design laboratories (complete with equipment, chemical products, technical fabrics in polyester and stainless steel for the manufacture of frames and rollers for traditional and screen printing); thermal plotters for the preparation of high-definition films (600/1200 dpi) suitable for screen printing; ceramic laboratories for research and quality control of raw materials and finished products; laser laboratories for roller and flexographic engraving and the production of silicone rollers for all kinds of rotary machine used in the ceramic industry.
In response to the changes in technology determined by digital printing, Seedex is partnering leading companies in the sector with the aim of developing a series of products and equipment to complement inkjet printing. These include a spectral scanner and accessories for digital graphic laboratories, Colour Profiler software, Seed-Breezer (a device for cooling ceramic tiles prior to inkjet application), Ink-Shaker S-2510 (universal agitator for digital inks), technologies and products for cleaning and reconditioning printheads, preparation plants and batching systems for digital inks.
Last but not least, Seedex has partnered with a leading company in the sector to create its own Raw Materials Division offering a range of high-quality grinding products. These include alumina and/or silica grinding media for milling glazes and bodies, alumina and/or silica mill linings, alumina microspheres for mills for the preparation of screen printing pastes, and special zirconium microspheres for extra-fine grinding of digital inks.
Seedex is again present this year in the Kromatech section of Tecnargilla in Rimini.
