Showcasing technology for ceramics at MosBuild
From 15th to 18th April at the Moscow Expocentre, twenty-five Italian companies who specialise in developing technologies for use with ceramics will be presenting at MosBuild - the largest Russian trade fair dedicated to the building, construction and interior design industries and organised by the ITE Group - during its second week called "Cersanex".
In the Technoceramica pavillion, Acimac (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics) and the ICE-Agenzia (Italian Trade Commission) are coordinating displays by leading companies such as: Air Power Group, Ancora, BMR, Cami Depurazioni, CMF Technology, Colorobbia, Esmalglass Italia, Ferrari & Cigarini, Gruppo Tecnoferrari, ICF & Welko, Lamberti, LB Officine Meccaniche, Luna Abrasivi, Martinelli Ettore, Mectiles Italia, Sacmi Group, Satori, Setec, Siti B&T, System, Tecnema, Tecnodiamant, Tecnosint, Tyrolit Vincent and Wanxing Coloritalia. Altogether, the Italian companies will occupy an area of around 600 square metres.
Like last year's fair, MosBuild 2014 is being held over two weeks and is subdivided into three themes. "Building & Interiors" and "Fenestration" - which ran from 1st to 4th April - played host primarily to companies that produce building materials and brick-making technologies. "Cersanex", which is taking place now, is dedicated to sanitaryware and ceramic tiles, both in terms of finished products and the technologies used to manufacture them.
According to data from the Acimac Research Centre, 2012 saw exports from ceramic machinery manufacturers to Eastern Europe (including Russia) increase considerably - by as much as +30.7% - in comparison with 2011. This amounts to a total of €160.3 million and accounts for 12.4% of the industry's total exports.
