Siti B&T Group supplies technology to Ceram Décor

The new Ceram Décor ceramic tile factory located in Batna, Algeria has adopted innovative technology from Siti B&T Group, which supplied all the machinery from raw materials preparation through to the kiln.

The equipment installed consists of a set of discontinuous mills, a spray dryer, two Evo 3008/2180 presses, a 4-layer horizontal dryer of width 2850 mm, two complete glazing lines equipped with an Evo7 printer for digital decoration, a 2850 mm pre-kiln dryer and a single-channel kiln with entrance width of 2850 mm.

The thermal machines use latest-generation technology to improve efficiency and energy saving and to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions. Evo presses come with a 5 year warranty on their structures and combine uniform pressing with low energy consumption. With a space of around 3 metres, the Evo7 digital printer can easily handle the number of inks and alter the ink sequence so as to print any kind of design at a maximum speed of 50 m/min. with high definition and significant colour savings.
