The Size adopts large-format tile technology from System Lamina and Nuova Era

The partnership between The Size and System has been strengthened and further expanded with the presence of the System subsidiary Nuova Era, which has contributed to the development of the plants installed by The Size in 2009 and 2012. The Spanish ceramic producer has chosen advanced technology from System Lamina for the production of large-format porcelain tiles in a 1600x3200 mm size and thicknesses ranging from 6 to 20 mm.

The order placed with Nuova Era concentrates on the kiln entrance and exit sections and consists of machinery specially designed to handle large-format ceramic tiles. The solution designed specifically for The Size is able to palletise products vertically using a special Robofloor unit. The supplied equipment includes five-channel dryer loading and unloading systems, a kiln loading system with maxi-compensator, a kiln unloading system and two Robofloor units, including one with a dual head. System's Spanish branch facilitates relations with The Size.
