System Ceramics obtains Hygiene Synopsis certification from TÜV Italia
System Ceramics is the first company in the industrial automation sector in Italy to obtain TÜV Hygiene Audit certification.
System Ceramics has received Hygiene Synopsis certification from TÜV Italia for its Hygiene Audit, which serves to verify compliance with the hygiene and protection measures established for the sector following the Covid-19 outbreak. The Fiorano Modenese-based company is the first in Italy to pass such tests in the industrial automation sector, demonstrating that it has incorporated the provisions established in its coronavirus prevention protocols into its management model.
The company’s QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) department has worked closely with TÜV Italia, and the audit verified the high quality standards of the hygiene and safety measures implemented. In particular, four key elements were evaluated: protective measures adopted during contacts with customers, cleaning and disinfection of toilets and common rooms, physical distancing, and employee training and communication. Surfaces were also inspected, demonstrating the complete effectiveness of the disinfection and sanitisation measures adopted.
The subsidiary Tosilab also successfully underwent the Hygiene Audit procedure.
“Today we are the first industrial automation company in Italy to receive Hygiene Synopsis certification from TÜV Italia, demonstrating the vital importance we attach to the well-being of our employees, customers and suppliers,” says Luca Bazzani, CEO of System Ceramics. “We acted swiftly to adopt every possible Covid-19 preventive measure as soon as the virus was first detected. This is a very important achievement for our company, our employees and our customers.”
