System supplies automation technology to TCC

4Phases from System, the automatic machine that saves up to 80% cardboard for packaging ceramic tiles, has been chosen by the Thai company TCC (part of Siam Cement Group, the world's largest ceramic tile producer) to introduce a new eco-friendly model into its end-of-line stage and to handle the box store with the utmost flexibility. The unique characteristics of 4Phases make it possible to create cardboard packaging tailored to products through a small number of automatic operations, thereby drastically reducing packaging costs.

4Phases has been installed at the end of a floor tile production line (60x60 cm size) which also includes a group of Easy Line 9-exit stackers and a Falcon Millennium automatic palletiser. TCC is currently working with System on the installation of Qualitron automatic tile sorting machines on lines for both double fired wall tiles and porcelain and single fired floor tiles. Along with the 4Phases systems, the 12 Qualitron machines installed to date have further consolidated TCC's twenty year collaboration with the System group.
