System's Creadigit technology gains ground in Saudi Arabia
System Saudi Arabia, a System Group subsidiary which has been operating in Riyadh since 2010, has completed a number of major supply contracts in 2015, most notably in the field of digital tile decoration.
At the beginning of the year it completed the start-up of four Creadigit printing systems for the ceramic producer Al Fanar, which completed the technological transition in the space of two months between December 2014 and January 2015 and raised the standard of production at its facility in Riyadh.
System technology was chosen following a short trial period that demonstrated its ability to turn out high-quality, defect-free finished products decorated at high resolution. It also underscored the reliability of the service offered by System Saudi Arabia, which includes technical and graphics support, the direct supply of spare parts, and training.
Two Creadigit E systems with 8 colour bars were also supplied to Arabian Ceramics Manufacturing Company, another leading Saudi manufacturer which has made major investments at its facility in Jeddah.
Riyadh Ceramics, which in 2013 became the first Saudi company to adopt System digital technology, recently purchased a second Creadigit to complement the existing unit. This latest installation underscores the high standard achieved by the system, which combines high productivity with outstanding printing quality while minimising downtime.
