Tecnargilla 2006 registers 1.9% increase in attendance

03/10/06 - The 20th Tecnargilla in Rimini came to a successful close yesterday.
The five-day event confirmed its role as the largest and most important exhibition of technologies for the ceramic sector with 30,820 visitors, 1.9% more than at the 2004 show.
There was an increase in numbers of both Italian visitors (from 19,277 to 19,747, +2.4%) and foreign visitors from more than a hundred countries (from 10,964 to 11,073, +1%).

The show’s international scope was likewise reflected in the origin of the exhibitors, with foreign companies accounting for 37% of the total of 752.

However, the most positive aspect of the exhibition was the satisfaction expressed by the exhibitors, who commented favourably on the professionalism and quality of the visitors and the presence of all the largest Italian and foreign producers.

Visitors showed strong interest in the technological innovations on display, a factor that bolstered the widespread optimism with which the sector’s entrepreneurs are looking to the future.

The next Tecnargilla will be held in 2008.
