Twenty-second Tecnargilla set to begin
The twenty-second Tecnargilla, the world’s foremost exhibition of technologies and supplies for the ceramic and brick industries organised by Rimini Fiera in cooperation with Acimac (Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association), will be opening on Monday 27 September.
The event will transform Rimini, queen of the Romagna Riviera, into the world capital of technology and aesthetics for ceramics where more than 450 exhibitors will be showcasing the very best technological innovations currently on the market in an area of 65,000 square metres.
The opening ceremony will be held in the Central Hall of the Rimini exhibition centre at 11.00 a.m. when the production activities officer for Regione Emilia Romagna, Gian Carlo Muzzarelli, will cut the ribbon in the presence of numerous local authorities, the leaders of Acimac and Rimini Fiera and the press.
This will be followed by the International Press Conference where addresses will be given by Gian Carlo Muzzarelli, Rimini Fiera chairman Lorenzo Cagnoni, and Acimac’s chairman Pietro Cassani and director Paolo Gambuli.
The afternoon conference programme will begin at 2.30 p.m. with a seminar entitled “Investing in China: situation and prospects”, during which the director of the Guangzhou branch of the Italian Trade Commission ICE, Paolo Lemma, representatives of the Foshan local government and entrepreneurs will discuss the possibilities that the Chinese market offers Italian businesses.
This will be followed at 5.00 p.m. in the Central Hall of the exhibition centre by the opening of the Ceramic Workshop, the exhibition space devoted to new trends, and the award ceremony for the first edition of the Tecnargilla Design Awards presented in recognition of the latest technological innovations, this year focusing on digital decoration.
