Vidres prepares for Cevisama 2017
Ultralux, a new family of mirror-effect glazes for white monoporosa tiles, and the Comfy Glaze range are the new products due to be launched by the Spanish glaze and colour producer Vidres at the forthcoming Cevisama, to be held in Valencia starting on 20 February.
Using the latest innovations in digital decoration technology, Vidres combines different materials to give ceramic tiles a deep, material effect. Special inks are combined with microgrits and HDM screen printing pastes to create microrelief and more natural finishes for materials ranging from metal to marble, terracotta, wood and concrete.
When applied to smooth surfaces, Ultralux creates extremely high-gloss finishes, whereas on relief surfaces it produces a uniquely luminous effect by reflecting light in all directions.
Comfy Glaze stands out for its high white level, making it suitable for decorating polished and unpolished white marble. The range won the Alfa de Oro award at Cevisama 2016 for its heat-insulating properties deriving from its high resistance to heat transmission by radiation.
