Vincenzo Torre appointed new Vice President of Sibelco Global Ceramics

As of 1 November 2016, Vincenzo Torre has been appointed the new Vice President of the Global Ceramics division of Sibelco Group, a well-known raw materials multinational based in Antwerp, Belgium.

The appointment comes as part of a reorganisation process for the group’s various Business Units, including the Ceramics division consisting of the three lines Tiles & Glazes, Sanitaryware & Tableware, Bricks & Roof Tiles.

An electronic engineer with professional experience working for ENI and Solvay, Vincenzo Torre joined Sibelco in 2007 and held several different positions including that of Head of Europe for the ceramic sector. Building on the excellent results he has achieved over the years in Europe, his objective is now to raise the Business Unit Global Ceramics to levels of excellence in the Asian and American markets by coordinating the global strategies and actions of an organisation consisting of around 60 people.
