YataO 2008: increasing number of international visitors

The eleventh edition of the international trade fair Yatao came to an end on 22 April. Held in Foshan International Conference & Exhibition Centre and China Ceramic City, the exhibition hosted more than 400 exhibitors in an area of more than 8,000 sq.m. In addition to the leading Chinese companies such as New Zhongyuan, New Pear, Kito and Nobel and Fumei, the show saw the participation of important foreign companies including Marca Corona (Italy), PCI and Missel (Germany), White Horse (Malaysia) and Recer (Portugal).

The show is attended by a growing number of international visitors from an ever wider range of countries. At the tenth edition, held last October, foreign attendance increased by 15% to include buyers from countries such as Great Britain, France, the United States, Australia, the Middle East, Korea and Japan, amongst others.

Numerous focus events and technical seminars were held during the show, with special attention to aspects of environmental sustainability in order to promote higher quality and respect for the environment on the part of local industry.

Next edition of YataO will be held in autumn, from 18 to 22 october 2008.
