“Apparently invisible. Chemistry in ceramic” is the new Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco app, an educational and training tool due to be launched in September in Italian and also available in English by Dicember 2022.
Two years after the launch of its communication project focused on education, training and skills sharing, Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco - a leading chemical company and specialist in the formulation of solutions for the ceramic industry - is bringing together the various initiatives it has implemented to date in a single virtual space.
The app entitled “Apparently invisible. Chemistry in ceramic”, which will be available in Italian from September and also in English by the end of the year, explores aspects of chemistry applied to ceramic tile production from the perspective of manufacturers and focuses on the issues of greatest interest to the people who work on production lines on a daily basis. It offers a step-by-step journey through products, applications and processes following a “problem-cause-solution” approach and adopting a simple language that is also accessible to non-specialists.
Available for free download from the Apple Store or Google Play Store from 26 September, the APP provides glossaries, knowledge pills, quizzes and calculation tools that enable users to expand or refresh their knowledge.
Process problems or technical and aesthetic issues can in many cases be resolved or mitigated through the use of chemistry or actions that require an in-depth knowledge of day-to-day operation of the production lines. With this in mind, the app is divided into various sections (Podcast, Chemistry Pills, Did you know that?, Tools, Quizzes and Products) which offer a range of learning experiences from traditional lessons to games.
