Tecno Diamant celebrates its 30th anniversary

As part of its ongoing international growth, the company will open its seventh overseas branch this year in Indonesia, adding to those already operating in Turkey, China, Russia, Spain, Brazil and Poland.

Founded in 1995 in Formigine (Modena), Tecno Diamant is celebrating its first 30 years of business this year. From the very beginning, the company established a presence in the Sassuolo ceramic district as a leading manufacturer and distributor of diamond tools for use on all kinds of ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware.

Since adopting a new corporate structure in 2020 under the leadership of Mauro Serradimigni, Fabrizio Di Marino, Marco Stefani and Omer Saetti, Tecno Diamant has further consolidated its market position, becoming an industry leader and a trusted partner for many of the top Italian and international ceramic companies.

Tecno Diamant’s greatest strength lies in its ability to develop customised tools tailored to the most complex production requirements.

Another major advantage is its customer support, which is provided by a highly qualified technical team that assists customers at every stage from product development to application in manufacturing processes and end-of-line operations such as cutting, grinding, polishing, chamfering, squaring and lapping.

The company is also continuing to invest strongly in technical development. One of its latest key initiatives, strongly supported by the company owners, was the launch of a dedicated R&D and production facility called Tecno Diamant Lab. Thanks to the extensive research conducted at the laboratory, combined with the team’s technical expertise, the company can swiftly respond to the evolving demands of ceramic technology with new ideas and innovations, all rigorously developed and produced in Italy.

This continuous evolution has led Tecno Diamant to strengthen its international presence by opening overseas branches in key global markets: Turkey, China, Russia, Spain, Brazil and Poland. This year, it will be opening a new branch in Indonesia which will play a strategic and essential role in expanding its commercial network across Asia.

Another hallmark of Tecno Diamant is its commitment to protection of the environment and sustainable business operations and production processes. Notable initiatives include installing a photovoltaic system to reduce CO₂ emissions, creating dedicated waste sorting and recycling areas and replacing the entire fleet of company vehicles with electric models accompanied by charging stations. The company has also introduced environmental awareness programmes for its staff, including distributing reusable water bottles and gradually reducing paper usage in offices.
