Impatto 5S crusher by Cimma delivers guaranteed quality
The crusher can be installed in the quarry or factory and is an ideal solution for the initial crushing of compact and/or stony clays.
CIMMA Ing. Morandotti & C. has been designing and building plant and machinery for powder technology since 1947, especially plant and machinery for grinding and pulverising, screening, air classification, drying, powder filtration, pneumatic conveying and mixing. The company’s large facility in Pavia includes a 5,000 square metre workshop where machinery is built for a range of industries including heavy clay. These reliable systems, which are exported all over the world, benefit from the company’s many years of experience and are designed with the utmost care for the environment.
One of these is the Impatto 5S crusher, which is specifically designed for initial crushing of compact and/or stony clays and can be installed either in quarries or in factories.
The crusher has a number of dedicated technical features that enable it to process clays with a moisture content of up to 20-22%. These include the special feed chute with moving metallic plates that carries the clay to the grinding hammers and the fully open discharge mouth with vertical walls on which swinging chains are mounted.
Impatto 5S can accept infeed piece sizes of up to about 500 mm even in the presence of stones. The product is crushed to a size of less than 40-60 mm, suitable for feeding secondary crushing machines. Very little maintenance is required and is normally limited to hammer replacement. Using its modern research and analysis laboratory and testing room, the company is able to perform grinding tests directly on customers’ materials in order to adapt plant design to specific production requirements.
