Mosbuild Preview - Siti-B&T Group: EVO 5608, the new model of hydraulic press

EVO 5608 is the new model of hydraulic press from SITI-B&T Group with free clearance of 2450 mm, a new and innovative model based on the consolidated EVO design that has the ultimate objective of bringing added value to the product. High performance is assured by the machine’s fundamental characteristics of a welded monolithic structure, a simple but meticulous design, a three-part cylinder, hydraulic components on-board the machine and a power unit with inertial flywheel.

The system of three sheets with different thicknesses in place of the traditional two sheets is entirely new. This brings significant advantages on a machine with very wide clearance between columns and high tonnage, particularly the extremely regular support given to the press bed which guarantees an improvement in the dimensional regularity of the tiles leaving the kiln. The most rigid machine ever produced by Siti - B&T Group, it delivers the maximum mould support regularity for all sizes from the smallest up to the largest 1200 mm widths. Loading defects can be highlighted and corrected by means of an effective parallelism control system. The hydraulic blocks are positioned in the rear of the machine, between the head and the cylinder, to optimise access for maintenance purposes. The control unit has a powerful motor located in a raised position, which by means of a V-belt system drives the flywheel shaft and the two opposing pumps with fixed flow rates.

Demoulding is performed by the tested Syncro system, which features a number of improved and upgraded parts. The new EVO 5608 press is equipped with a latest-generation electronic control board which controls all phases of the pressing cycle with the possibility of setting, displaying and memorising all parameters and functions for the various automatic working cycles.
