Nuova Era: Roboflash, the main automation for pallet trasport organisation

Roboflash is one of the many automations designed and produced by Nuova Era for optimising the production process in ceramic tile factories. Roboflash is able to optimise pallet transport organisation, resulting in an 80% increase in the number of pallets transported on each truck.

After arriving at the factory, pallets are automatically processed by Roboflash which transforms the stacks of interlocking pallets into vertical stacks consisting of a programmable number of pallets ready to be engaged by an LGV vehicle. The pallet stack is deposited at the palletisation station ready to be collected and used by the palletiser. Between the stack break-up and reforming stages, Roboflash has a station that can insert a nylon sheet from a reel and automatically staple it to the pallet to protect the bases of the palletised packs from moisture.

Roboflash has a production capacity of 150 pallets/hours and consists of the following modules: stack deposit module, pallet separation module, pallet overturning module, optional pallet covering module, stack forming module and stack storage module (for one or more stacks).
