USA, incentives for home construction from the Bush administration

USA, incentives for home construction from the Bush administrationIn April in the USA, the start of the construction of new homes recorded a fall in 5.4%. This data from April prefigures a rate of 1,555 million homes built in a year, with respect to the rate of 1,583 million recorded last December.
This marks the negative trend already noted in March, although signs of recovery are noticeable, with the hope of a sector return: permits issued for new constructions have in fact increased by 0.3% with respect to the fluctuation of 7.8% in the previous month. Over the past few weeks, to deal with the crisis, the Bush administration made a proposal to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to start, as of 2003, a programme of incentives for the construction of homes in low income urban and rural areas. If the proposal goes ahead, not only the local citizens but also the sector will enjoy the benefits: according to the analysts, the American construction sector could reach and even beat the record already achieved in the Nineties.
