ABK chooses Interceramic for exclusive distribution in China
ICC has already set up around fifty showrooms in China’s major cities and expects to have 100 stores by March 2021.
ABK, a brand of ABK Group, one of the top 10 players in the Italian ceramic industry, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with ICC (Interceramic in China) regarding the exclusive distribution of its products in the Chinese market. A subsidiary of the North American company Interceramic which has been operating in China since 2010, ICC proposes an innovative design concept and cutting-edge marketing strategies that have revolutionised the distribution of tiles and large slabs in the country.
Distribution was originally scheduled to begin in early 2020 but was delayed by the COVID-19 lockdown. However, the delayed start was seen as an opportunity to complete the preparation of the first 26 showrooms, which are already open to the public, while a further 24 were completed during the summer. By the end of the first quarter of 2021, ICC expects to reach a total of 100 stores located in China’s largest cities.
