Acimac promotes initiatives in India and Iran
The association has organised two important events for the coming months. After the training course for ceramic industry technicians to be held in Monterrey (Mexico) from 27 to 31 October, another training course is scheduled for Teheran (Iran) from 2 to 4 December 2003.
The topics to be addressed by course tutors Giuliano Guerrieri and Gianfranco Carnevali are grinding and pressing in the tile production process. Just like in Mexico, the last day of the course will be devoted to a technological symposium during which Italian ceramic companies will have an opportunity to present their latest innovations.
One of the first events to be staged in 2004 is an exhibition. Acimac is amongst the promoters of the Indian exhibition Ceramics and Ceramic Technologies Exhibition, to be held in the Pragati Maidan exhibition centre in New Delhi from 24 to 26 March.
By contributing to the Indian ceramic and heavy clay trade fair, Acimac aims to demonstrate the interest shown by the Italian machinery industry in this rapidly expanding market. With an output of about 150 million square metres of tiles a year, India is the eighth largest producer country in the world.
