Al Omaraa invests in Microton technology from Sitec Technology
Sitec Technology of Fiorano Modenese, Italy, a member of LB group, has installed two Microton MCS 30 continuous dry micronisation systems for grinding materials used in the ceramic and glaze sector in the new Al Omaraa factory in Egypt. This installation is part of a broader project to create a large micronisation plant at the Al Omaraa facility consisting of the two Microton units installed in recent months and two previously supplied Microton MCS 15 units.
Microton systems are designed for dry milling of hard materials and are capable of attaining particle sizes below 10 microns and ensuring high productivities with low energy consumption. They are used for the continuous production of micronized powders in fully automated production cycles.
Their outstanding feature is that they perform continuous control of the weight of product present inside the mill and automatically adjust the supply flow to maintain the system in perfect equilibrium. Microton systems consist of an MCS mill, which delivers consistently high performance, and an innovative separation and particle size control system that guarantees finished product quality.
