The Alfa de Oro 2006 awards
Vernisreceived the award for Grip-System, a transparent non-slip application that improves the technical characteristics of any ceramic floor tile without affecting its aesthetic qualities.
Macer was given the award for a mould equipped with sensors for control and real-time correction of pressing parameters, allowing the density of all pressed pieces to be verified.
Vidres won the Alfa de Oro award for the third time for its range of metal-ceramic composites that create tiles reproducing bronze and metal sheets without the use of precious materials.
The Alfa de Oro award for the bathroom sector went to Stone Decor for its new high-strength laminated glass washbasins and the new waste system that prevents the formation of rings.
The Alfa de Plata awards went to the glaze and colour manufacturer Fritta for its solar energy-capturing ceramic sensors, which integrate perfectly with the aesthetics and architecture of ventilated facades, Ceramica Mayor for its interlocking extruded ceramic sheets which can be fixed to ventilated facades without the need for mechanical supports and Tecnireflejos for its washbasins produced by thermal deformation of flat porcelain sheets.
