BMR supplies large-size tile finishing plant to Lioli Ceramica
The new finishing plant for large-size porcelain tiles supplied by BMR to Lioli Ceramica (Lexus Group) is due to begin operation in late March.
For its facility in Morbi (Gujarat), the Indian ceramic tile producer has chosen a honing line consisting of two 20-head modules with oscillating beam and one 16-head module with fixed beam.
The order also included a Supershine treatment system which guarantees a tile surface of more than 90 gloss along with high levels of honing performance.
To complete the plant, Lioli has adopted Top Squadra Dry technology, the latest-generation dry cutting and squaring line for large size tiles. This solution evolved from the line first developed by BMR in 2005 which was capable of dry grinding not just monoporosa but also porcelain tiles of various sizes and thicknesses.
The investment will enable the Indian company to attain high technical and aesthetic standards and consolidate its core business in the production of high-quality porcelain panels in sizes ranging from 1200x1200 mm to 1600x3200 mm.
