Carfer Forni reports excellent results in Italy and abroad
In spite of the international economic difficulties that have affected the ceramic market in recent years, Sassuolo-based Carfer Forni reported good results in 2012, including a strengthened presence in Italian and international markets, especially South America and the Middle East.
Thanks to its product quality and ongoing commitment to research and development of new technologies, especially for reducing energy consumption and protecting the environment, Carfer Forni is renowned as a proactive, reliable company in the field of design and construction of kilns and dryers tailored to customers' needs.
These good results were underscored by a very strong showing at Tecnargilla, where visitors displayed keen interest in Echo-Radx kilns and dryers which use a selective irradiation heating system. The system uses self-recovering radiant tube burners to achieve high energy savings and low emissions of CO and NOx. The new system for control and automatic regulation of the combustion stoichiometry (air/gas combustion ratio) of each individual burner guarantees up to 10-15% lower gas consumption compared to conventional systems fed with fixed combustion air.
