Ceramic Expo Middle East, first edition to be held in Dubai in October
From 14 to 16 October 2019, Dubai will be hosting a new trade fair devoted exclusively to ceramic tiles and sanitaryware.
With a year to go before Expo 2020, Dubai is preparing to host a new trade fair event devoted exclusively to ceramics. The launch edition of Ceramic Expo Middle East will be held from 14 to 16 October 2019 in the Festival Arena Exhibition Center in Dubai. Organised by Fairs World in the business hub of the United Arab Emirates, the event aims to create a platform where international tile and sanitaryware manufacturers can meet their two main market segments: importers and distributors on the one hand; and architects, designers and contract industry professionals on the other.
Along with local buyers, Ceramic Expo Middle East will host selected delegations of foreign importers from around twenty countries in the Middle East (Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia) and Africa (Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria), as well as the Indian subcontinent, Russia and Ukraine.
To guarantee maximum exposure in the architect and designer segment, the event will receive the support of an advisory panel consisting of well-known industry professionals, including Diane Thorsen (Perkins+will), Elizabeth Valkovics (dwp), Isabel Pintado (Wilson Associates), Kristina Zanic (Kristina Zanic Consultants), Laila Al Yousef (Say Studio), Sumaya Dabbagh (Dabbagh Architects) and Wael Al Masri (Wael Al Masri Planners & Architects). They will also be responsible for choosing the educational and cultural content, as well as organising the Ceramic Expo Middle East Awards for the best architecture projects in the residential, hospitality, retail and office segments.
For this launch edition of the show the organisers are expecting around 3,500 trade professionals to attend.
