Ceramics of Italy at Batimat Russia 2015

On 8 July this year, Confindustria Ceramica ratified its agreement with Media Globe - Crocus, the organiser of Batimat Russia, and confirmed the participation of Italian ceramic tile and sanitaryware manufacturers in the Russian construction exhibition to be held from 31 March to 3 April 2015 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow.

The agreement establishes specific long-term conditions to facilitate the participation of Italian companies over the next five years and the creation of a Ceramics of Italy pavilion to host the tile and sanitaryware producers.

Crocus Expo, located on the outskirts of Moscow, is a modern and constantly-expanding exhibition centre. Confindustria Ceramica decided to take part in Batimat Russia in view of the numerous advantages it will bring for Italian exhibitors: improved dates for the Russian construction business, no clashes with other major international exhibitions for Italian companies (such as Coverings), the presence of all product sectors allied to the construction industry at a single event, and a vigorous promotional strategy aimed at Russian architects, designers, construction firms and distributors.

Batimat Russia was attended by 53,000 professional visitors in 2014, a figure that is bound to increase in 2015 due to the participation of the leading Russian producers and new high-quality international exhibitors, including the Italian ceramic machinery manufacturers hosted in the Italian pavilion in the Technoceramica section.
