Cersaie almost sold out

With five months still to go before the International Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishing Exhibition is held in Bologna from 20 to 24 September, more than 97% of the 176,000 square metres of exhibition space has been booked by 751 companies representing more than 1,000 brands located in 29 countries worldwide.

According to the latest figures confirming the importance of the Bologna show, bookings for the six exhibit sectors currently amount to 392 tile sector companies hosted in a 52,572 square metre area, 295 exhibitors of bathroom furnishings in a space of 31,983 square metres and 18 glaze and colour producers in a space of 1,605 square metres. The external area will likewise be fully occupied, with the 4,645 square metres of available space hosting 46 companies from the ceramic product, equipment and installation materials sectors.

Once again this year Cersaie will feature a packed programme of initiatives and meetings that, as part of Building Dwelling Thinking 2011, will transform the Architecture Gallery located in Galleria 25 – 26 into a cultural venue.

Last year’s Cersaie was attended by 82,548 visitors including almost 25,000 international visitors from 144 different countries and 738 journalists from all over the world.
