Cmf Technology is growing in Korea
Taeyoung Ceramics, a Korean ceramic tile manufacturing company, has commissioned Cmf Technology (Pavullo, Italy) the engineering, construction and installation of the entire handling department of the new double-fired tile line that will operate in addition to the existing lines. The order came after a careful and complex preliminary engineering phase, whose goal was to develop a technological solution capable to ensure maximum production flexibility combined with an extremely reduced number of workers on the line.
The supply will include a storage system for the unfired and fired ceramic tiles, that is able to store the semi-finished products in roller boxes and/or flats by means of several "TBox" and "TFlat" loading and unloading machines. The various in-house logistics phases (storage, management of semi-finished products storage, handling of boxes and flats, etc.), are managed by a customized management software program that transmits instructions to powerful Pegaso laser-guided vehicles.
In order to make the new line completely automated and efficient, Cmf Technology will also supply all the loading and unloading machines for the press, dryer and kilns. The new agreement with Taeyoung will reinforce the presence of Cmf Technology in Korea, where, over the past few years, the Italian company has supplied the Tech Towers technology (complete plants for dosing, dry coloring and press feeding) to Daedong and Sejong.
