Conference on drying and firing

29/11/05 - A conference entitled “Drying and firing of ceramic products: technical aspects and technological development” will be held on Thursday 1 December 2005 at 2.30 p.m. in the Assopiastrelle auditorium in Sassuolo.
Organised by Acimac and the Italian Ceramic Society, the event will explore technological aspects of the two processes and will feature technical and scientific contributions by leading experts in the field.

The conference will also see the presentation of the new technical manual entitled “Drying and Firing of Ceramic Tiles”, the latest addition to the series of technical manuals promoted by Acimac.

Following the addresses, the 9th international “Aldo Villa” award will be presented to professor Carlo Palmonari, director of the Centro Ceramico Bologna. Promoted by the Italian Ceramic Society, the award is given every two years to an entrepreneur, director, technician or researcher who has made a significant contribution to the development of the ceramic sector.convegno_cottura.jpg
