Dry Squaring Speed from Ancora achieves excellent market performance
Less than a year since its launch at Tecnargilla 2014, the Dry Squaring Speed machine from Ancora (Siti B&T Group) has achieved excellent market results, especially in Italy, Spain, Iran and Mexico.
Also available in an XXL version for large-format tiles and panels, the new dry squaring machine can easily process all kinds of ceramic material. Along with the well-known advantages of energy saving, environmental sustainability and reduction in production costs, it also has a high operating speed.
This is due to the fact that the grinding wheels rotate at double the speed of those on conventional wet grinding systems, while the 4 kWh high-speed spindles are capable of removing large quantities of material with a high degree of efficiency. Even in the case of porcelain the machine is able to achieve speeds of up to 30 metres a minute with energy savings of 30%.
The positioning device with ergonomic adjustment allows for very high production speeds as well as perfect rectangularity of the sides even with very large tiles and panels. Thanks to a patented technology, the compressed air used for cooling the spindles is also adopted for cleaning the tools during processing.
