Durst enters the Polish ceramic market
Thanks to the new local sales and service infrastructure, which has been built up in Włocławek (Poland) in cooperation with Polindex (partner since 2012 and the major Polish ceramic supplier), Durst has opened up a new growth market for its digital ceramic printer range.
Durst digital technology is already used by several Polish ceramic tile manufacturers, one of which is the market leader Ceramika Paradyz, which is already running four Gamma 75 HD-R units and one Pictocer at its various production facilities.
Besides the Gamma 75 HD-R, Polish ceramic manufacturers are also asking for the digital flat-bed printer Pictocer HD, which is especially suitable for design development, small batches and one-off production, and for third-firing applications. This machine has already been installed by Ceramika Pilch, Ceramika Creative and Cerart. In Cerart's case, it's actually the second printing machine they've invested in, after producing more than 40.000 sq.m within one year.
At the moment, Durst is working on new technological innovations to sustain its worldwide expansion. The new patented systems and components will enable its "Synchronized Digital Glazing" system to change forever the ceramic tile manufacturing process.
