EFI closes 2016 with revenue of US $992 million
Electronics For Imaging, Inc., the Fremont, California-based multinational listed on Nasdaq, has announced preliminary year-end results for 2016 including revenue of $992.1 million, up 12% on 2015. GAAP net income was $455 million (up 36% compared to $33.5 million in the same period in 2015), while cash flow rose from $68.3 million in 2015 to $121.1 million in 2016 (+77%).
A world leader in the digital printing sector, the group supplies a wide range of printers, inks and software packages for digital production processes to various manufacturing sectors globally, including packaging, ceramic tiles and textiles.
Guy Gecht, CEO of EFI, was pleased with the results, pointing to significant improvements in margins and cash flow despite the negative impact of foreign currency. In 2017 the company will also be launching its new Nozomi platform for digital printing in the packaging sector.
