Egypt: New production line for Ceramica Venezia
Located in Cairo's "6th October" industrial district, Ceramica Venezia is now one of Egypt's leading ceramic tile producers following 25 years of continuous investments in technological innovation. The company generates 50% of its turnover through exports and recently decided to boost production capacity by installing a brand new line supplied by Sacmi.
Assembly was completed a few months ago and the new line is now fully operational, increasing capacity by 22,000 sq.m/day. The line consists of two modular MMC 074 mills, an ATM 140 spray dryer, three PH 3020 presses and two 140-metre kilns and provides a cutting-edge solution for the efficient management of the production mixes requested by the company (i.e. red body single fire and monoporosa). At the same time it allows for a reduction in operating costs due to the greater efficiency of the new machines.
