Elema at Tecnargilla with Evolution Clean
Elema, a Castellarano-based company specialising in electronics and automation for the ceramic industry, will be taking part in Tecnargilla for the first time with its own stand.
As well as presenting the new services of electronic repairs and sale of out-of-production parts, at the Rimini show Elema will be aiming to consolidate the recent market success of Evolution Clean, the machine developed for cleaning digital printheads.
In Italy, the order from Marazzi Group was followed by another from Gresmalt, which installed the machine in the laboratory at its facility in Viano (RE). Ever since the first month of operation, Evolution Clean has been working on around a hundred printheads and has confirmed the excellent results in terms of shorter maintenance times and greater productivity.
The quality of the machine’s construction and the efficiency of its cleaning system have been further confirmed by sales made in recent months in the international marketplace.
Through collaboration with Atlas Trading, the first Evolution Clean has been installed in the laboratory of SRS Pars in Iran and will enable local tile manufacturers to get a close-up view of its operation and benefits. The machine installed at the Mectiles Turkey facility will perform the same function for the Turkish market. Elema aims to provide ceramic companies with the support they need to perform printhead maintenance independently, making it unnecessary to outsource the operation and avoiding the risk that derives from ignoring its importance in terms of cost savings. Evolution Clean has proved capable of reducing printhead replacements solely to units experiencing electronic or mechanical damage.
Thanks to cooperation with Seedex, Evolution Clean will soon be installed at the facility of Omega Ceramics in Egypt.
