Fema grinding systems in Thailand
Thai Ceramic Co., Thailand (SCG Group) has commissioned Fema Chemical & Industrial Plants of Cortenuova (Bergamo) to design two complete parallel grinding lines for the treatment of feldspar and other hard materials for porcelain tile production. Each grinding line uses a tubular ball mill in a closed mechanical circuit with a latest-generation dynamic separator. The simple process offers wide scope for adjustment and is able to easily obtain degrees of fineness of hard materials (feldspar, quartz, etc.) The tubular mills under construction for Thai Ceramic feature highly original technical solutions: variable speed central control (excluding traditional pinion/crown gear or belt controls); possibility of varying the mill speed to obtain optimum speeds; lining that rotates on slides (excluding welded heads and conventional supports with fifth wheels or rolling bearings).
