The first "Ceramics: what's next?" webinar was a success
Almost a thousand registrations and 572 connected people are the successful figures for the first webinar hold on 2 and 4 December. Speakers included Luca Bazzani (CEO of System), Matteo Federici (GM of Sacmi’s Tiles BU), Barbara Franchini (CEO of FM) and Paolo Lamberti (Vice Chairman of Acimac).

The first Tecna Next webinar entitled “Ceramics: what’s next? Visions and opportunities for the ceramics of the future” was a success beyond expectations, with almost a thousand registrations and 572 connected people during the live streaming in both Italian and English on 2 and 4 December.
Protagonists of the event were Luca Bazzani (CEO of System Ceramics) and Matteo Federici (General Manager of Sacmi’s Tiles Business Unit), who provided their views on the current situation of the ceramic industry and the main drivers that will support the future development of the sector: New Technologies, Digitalisation, Materials, Sustainability. They were followed by Barbara Franchini (CEO of FM), who presented FM’s newest patent, an innovative solution for the air extraction and filtration that eliminates powders, bacteria and viruses, included the Corona virus.
Participants were welcomed by Acimac’s Chairman Paolo Mongardi, Director Mario Maggiani and Vice Director Gian Paolo Crasta, as well as by IEG’s CEO Corrado Peraboni.
The webinar also included the participation of Paolo Lamberti (Vice Chairman of Acimac), who presented the next events organised by Italian design firms.
