FM receives special mention in Confindustria "Imprese per Innovazione" award
FM, a Correggio, Italy based company that designs and produces technical items made of thermoplastic materials, has been awarded a special mention in the Confindustria “Imprese per Innovazione” award in recognition of its achievements as one of the most innovative Italian companies.
The award, held for the second consecutive year in cooperation with the Quality Award Association (APQI), aims to promote an awareness of the level of innovation of the Italian production system, to create a business culture by providing a reference framework for excellence in the management of innovative processes, and to improve company performance through a self-diagnostics tool capable of identifying opportunities for enhancing innovative capacity.
On the basis of the scores assigned by the participating companies, the Technical Committee awarded FM a Special Mention which will be presented during the official award ceremony, to be held during the 7th Research Day organised by Confindustria on 6 November at its headquarters in Viale dell’Astronomia in Rome.
Reflecting the importance of this theme for the country’s development, the ceremony will be attended by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano, together with the Chairman of Confindustria Emma Marcegaglia, the Vice Chairman for R&I Diana Bracco, the Vice Chairman for Southern Italy Cristiana Coppola, high-level representatives of the Government and of the world of research and business, and international experts.
