Gamma XD systems conquer the Brazilian market
Durst technology enjoyed an enthusiastic reception at the recent trade fair Expo Revestir in São Paulo, Brazil.
The company completed numerous deals directly at the show, where it gave live demonstrations of a Gamma 98 XD digital printer, part of a multiple order commissioned by Eliane.
Brazil is one of the most important and receptive markets for Durst technology, accounting for 45 of the more than 600 Gamma systems installed worldwide. More than 10 of these consist of various models from the Gamma XD series, presented more than a year ago and already adopted by leading brands such as Portobello, Cecrisa/Portinari and Biancogres.
High image quality along with full, uniform colours over the entire printing width and total absence of banding are the key factors behind the success of the Gamma XD range, now expanded with the new model Gamma 108 XD suitable for printing 90x90 cm sizes.
Like the other systems in the range, this model can also be configured with the new Gamma XD Digital Material (DM) in which special modular colour bars release large quantities of material effect ink (more than 100 g/sq.m).
The Gamma 108 XD is likewise equipped with printheads featuring the latest High Definition Printhead Technology with dual ink circulation and exclusive Adaptive Dot Placement technology, which guarantees an original resolution of between 300 and 1000 dpi, 4 greyscale levels and drop modulation of up to 90 pl.
One of the most popular features is the innovative hydraulic and ink filtering system with special large-size 7 micron filters that ensure greater stability of the nozzles, increasing their lifetime and improving their performance.
