Innovation continues at F.M.
The latest products developed by the R&D department at F.M. (Reggio Emilia - Italy) for the ceramic industry were unveiled in November. The new roller conveyor with 16-step cylindrical rollers is ideal for difficult tasks (in the presence of water, small and large format tiles and special items such as skirtings) thanks to its increased strength due to the incorporation of an M6 steel bolt. It is particularly recommended for use with screen printing and digital machines, where items must be fed in a coplanar manner on to the conveyor belt. The modules can be used in conjunction with all projecting roller conveyors in the F.M. range: thanks to the use of smaller-diameter rollers, and the corresponding reduction in space between these, the module improves small packages and/or formats handling by reducing the tendency for blockages during handing and transport.
The new roller conveyor will be presented at the Cevisama and Revestir exhibitions. Also on show will be the products from the "Heavy" range which includes: reinforced supports and beams to provide extra strength for significant loads; and reinforced containment roller conveyors, designed to support greater lateral work loads. The distance between the rollers - coated in a special scratchproof material - can be adjusted.
