Inter Ser reports further growth in 2017
Inter Ser (Vercelli), a company specialising in international sales of original parts and machinery for ceramics set up in 1996, posted a new record turnover of 15.5 million euros in 2017, a further improvement on the already high figure of 2016.
This is a particularly impressive result for the company led by twin brothers Gian Luca and Paolo Zanoni given that its business is entirely outside Italy so it does not benefit from the Industry 4.0 tax incentives launched by the Italian government.
Inter Ser, which has a logistics centre in Sassuolo, continued its collaboration with the world’s leading ceramic manufacturers last year, supplying equipment to 22 of the top 25 groups in the sector. For many of these it acts as the main parts supplier and plays a vital role in ensuring operational continuity.
Inter Ser also announced the business success of Ubiquicom, a company in which it has held a stake since 2016. A specialist in the development of RTLS (Real Time Locating Systems) for traceability and localisation of company assets in manufacturing and logistics markets, Ubiquicom posted sales of 1.5 million euros in 2017 (up 420% on 2016) and has seen strong growth in its 2018 order book.
