Italian ceramic machinery industry sets off for Indian Ceramics Asia
Italian technologies will take centre stage at the largest Indian show for the industry, which will be held in Gandhinagar from 27 February to 1 March.
Italian technologies will take the spotlight at the exhibition Indian Ceramics Asia, India’s most important exhibition of suppliers to the ceramic tile, sanitaryware and brick industries to be held from 27 February to 1 March in the new exhibition centre in Gandhinagar, in the Gujarat region.
Organised by MMI India and Unifair, the exhibition will offer plenty of business and trade opportunities and will see the participation of around 300 exhibitors and more than 8,500 visitors.
The first major event in Acimac’s 2019 international promotion programme, the show will see strong participation on the part of Italian companies, many of which will be hosted in the collective pavilion organised by the association in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency ITA.
The following companies will be exhibiting in a space of more than 600 sqm: Air Power, BMR, Breton/Tecnema, CMF Technology, ICF Welko, Icra, LB, Projecta Engineering, Ricoth, Sacmi, Sicer, Smac, Surfaces Group, System Ceramics, Tecnoferrari and TekMak.
India has become one of the most attractive markets for ceramic machinery manufacturers. In 2017 the country ranked second amongst world tile producers with output volumes of more than 1 billion square metres (13.1% up on the 1,080 million square metres of 2016), a trend that is forecast to grow over the next few years.
Following Indian Ceramics, Acimac will continue its promotional tour with appointments in Brazil, Russia, the United States and China.
