Laminam chooses the Silktile by CMF Technology
A Silktile dry lapping and smoothing machine by CMF Technology (Pavullo, Italy) was started up last January at the Laminam facility in Fiorano (Italy). The machine, which is installed at the entrance of the sorting line, was designed to use its 4 tangential heads with rapid change tools to work on ceramic slabs with maximum dimensions 1050 x 3010 mm. Thanks to the new Silktile, the surface finishing of Laminam large porcelain tiles has been improved both at an aesthetic level and as for its functionality, since it is very easy to clean, without changing its advanced technical features of resistance to staining and to acids.
