LB opens new branch in Gujarat
During the exhibition Indian Ceramics held recently in Ahmedabad, LB announced the opening of its first Indian branch with registered offices in Mumbai and operating centre in Gujarat, home to 80% of the country’s ceramic tile production.
Alongside the team that has been working in India for several years, the new branch will be manned by technical and sales staff trained directly by the Italian company.
The opening of the new Indian branch reflects LB’s intention of continuing the process of internationalisation that it began several years ago with the aim of providing local partners with more direct and rapid sales and after-sales support.
Export sales now make up around 75% of LB’s turnover, with India, China and Brazil together accounting for 25% of the total.
