LB secures new order from Grupo Lamosa

LB and Grupo Lamosa (brands Lamosa, Porcelanite, San Lorenzo, Italica, Cordillera and Firenze) recently signed a new collaboration agreement.

The Mexican ceramic group, the world’s third largest tile producer with 10 facilities in Mexico and another 7 in Argentina, Colombia and Peru with a total capacity of 180 million sq.m, has commissioned LB to supply new technologies for two Ceramica San Lorenzo factories in Argentina and Peru.

The Italian company has supplied technologies for the production of dry ground materials at the Planta III facility in Lima, and a Migratech powder microgranulation line for the production of larger size tiles with greater mechanical strength and lower water absorption is due to be installed at the site in San Juan (Argentina).

Both plants will begin production by the end of 2018.
