Marmomacc consolidates its position abroad
The 43rd Marmomacc, the recently concluded exhibition of Stone, Technology and Design in Verona, has reported a total attendance of 63,000 visitors (including 44% from abroad). During the first three days of the show, reserved for professionals, the percentage of foreign visitors was as high as 50%. These were very positive results for the organisers and for the 1536 exhibitors from 54 countries who displayed their products in an exhibit space of 77,000 square metres.
The numerous foreign delegations that came to Veronafiere through cooperation with the Italian Trade Commission ICE and other partners were a big bonus for the exhibitors at Marmomacc.
The first edition of the natural stone and technology exhibition Stonexpo Marmomacc Americas was held in Las Vegas from 16 to 18 October.
The exhibition was organised as a USA-Italy co-branding initiative by Veronafiere and Hanley Wood Exhibitions (controlled by Hanley Wood, one of the leading American publishers of magazines in the building and construction sector), which led to the creation of a new brand combining the two exhibitions StonExpo and Marmomacc. Veronafiere has long been committed to a process of internationalisation and through this initiative is promoting the Marmomacc brand and boosting the presence and visibility of Italian products in North America.
330 companies, including 25 Italian firms, took part in this first edition of the show.
