Omega and Pyramids double up their Migratech lines from LB
Just one year on from the first sales agreement signed with LB Officine Meccaniche, the Egyptian ceramic companies Omega and Pyramids have placed a second order for the Italian company's Migratech technology with a view to continuing their rapid expansion in the North African market.
The Lamie brothers, owners of Omega and Pyramids, commissioned LB to supply two new dry grinding and microgranulation plants for start-up by the end of the year.
The line delivered to Omega will have a production capacity of 15 tons/h, while the one ordered by Pyramids will be able to produce up to 30 tons/h of ceramic body.
This plant expansion project will enable the two companies to achieve a production capacity of 60,000 sq.m/day of floor and wall tiles produced entirely using the dry process.
