Poppi Clementino brings forty years of expertise to TECNA 2026
The Reggio Emilia-based company has always focused on innovation as a means of improving efficiency and is now accelerating the transition towards Factory 5.0.
Forty years after it was founded, Poppi Clementino is gearing up for TECNA 2026, to be held in Rimini from 22 to 25 September. As a leading player in the field of energy recovery and ceramic industry technologies, the company will be showcasing a range of solutions increasingly oriented towards the Factory 5.0 concept, based on digitalisation, predictive monitoring and smart connectivity.
Participation in the exhibition represents an important opportunity for the company to strengthen its international standing and present its latest technologies designed to reduce the environmental impact of production processes.
Today, Poppi Clementino operates through three complementary divisions: Energy Recovery, a field where the company pioneered the transformation of waste heat into a strategic resource for the circular economy; Raw Material Handling, dedicated to high-precision, contamination-free handling and batching of raw materials; and Ceramic Industry Technologies, the company’s longstanding core business, focused on plants designed to maximise productivity while drastically reducing environmental footprint.
Founded in Reggio Emilia in 1986, Poppi Clementino initially developed within the Sassuolo ceramic district before establishing a global presence. From 2000 onwards, the brand consolidated its position in Spain and other European markets, then expanded into Asia. Its first installations in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, all built using proprietary technologies, proved capable of reducing the energy consumption of spray dryers and drying systems by between 25% and 35%. These early successes served as a powerful calling card, helping the company build strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Today, Poppi Clementino generates more than 80% of its turnover in international markets. The year 2020 marked another major milestone in the company’s growth when Carlo Alberto Poppi took over its leadership and extended its range of activity to the glass and plastics sectors, bringing the company’s expertise in energy recovery and flue gas filtration to these industries. Poppi Clementino’s presence at TECNA reaffirms its international growth trajectory and its focus on integrated solutions for increasingly efficient, sustainable and digital production.
