Second Cirillo Mussini scholarship

The Concorde Group is promoting the second edition of the scholarship for young engineers in memory of its former chairman, Prof. Cirillo Mussini, two years since his death.
The 10,000 euro grant is awarded to a recent university graduate whose degree thesis was on the ceramic industry and includes a six-month research programme on a topic relating to the industry. The study project will take place from January to June 2009 at a Concorde Group company and at the Modena Faculty of Engineering (Department of Materials Engineering).

The deadline for submission of applications and documentation is 20 December 2008. Last year an analogous scholarship was won by engineer Luca D’Andrea for his degree thesis entitled “Heat treatment optimisation for the production of ceramic bodies”. The award was presented at the Concorde Group’s headquarters in Spezzano during a commemoration ceremony for the late Prof. Mussini.
